My Nimble Thimble Shipping Policy (New York Studio)

My Nimble Thimble operates out of New York State. Because each quilt is handmade, shipping timelines vary based on project type and workload.

Processing Time

• All quilts are handcrafted with care.

• Estimated timelines are discussed at the time of order.

• Custom quilts and longarm quilting projects require extended processing times.

Shipping Methods

• Orders are shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

• Tracking information will be provided when available.

• Shipping rates are based on size, weight, and destination.

• All quilts ship fully insured for your protection.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. My Nimble Thimble is not responsible for lost or delayed packages due to incorrect address information.

While we do our best to meet estimated timelines, shipping delays may occur due to weather, carrier delays, or other factors outside our control.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Due to the custom, handmade nature of quilting services, we aim to be clear and fair with all policies.

Custom Quilts & Longarm Quilting Services

• All custom quilts and longarm quilting services are final sale.

• Once work has begun, orders cannot be canceled or refunded.

• Deposits are non-refundable.

Custom Order Deposit Policy

Custom quilt orders require a 20% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to secure your project and cover material costs.

​

This deposit:

• Secures your place in our production schedule

• Covers fabric and supply purchases specific to your quilt

• Is applied toward the final total cost of your quilt

Because materials are often purchased specifically for each custom design, the 20% deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Once work has begun, orders cannot be canceled or refunded.

The remaining balance is due prior to shipping or at the agreed-upon completion time.

T-Shirt Quilts & Memory Quilts

Customers acknowledge that t-shirt quilts and memory quilts often use irreplaceable materials. While every effort is made to handle items with care, My Nimble Thimble is not responsible for damage due to fabric condition, age, or prior wear.

Ready-Made Items (If Offered)

If non-custom items are available:

• Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery

• Items must be unused and in original condition

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If an item arrives damaged or incorrect:

• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

• Please include photos and a description of the issue
  We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless an error was made on our part.
